powdercoating is very durable.it wont scratch or chip like paint. they put powder on it and bake it on at some crazy temp.it looks awesome.really professional.
it shouldnt cost more than $50 for all those brackets
look in your local phone book
it works fine when you have a bypass system, and also if you idle air inlet pipe is AFTER the blower..... as a matter of fact with my setup the AFM would not work properly if it was before the blower, because the inlet sees huge vacuum at all times, even at idle. the blower pushes quite a lot of air!
i'll have to fix that before the car will idle properly. the bypass system is the best aspect of this setup, and i must thank tony (Warpspeed) for suggesting it and helping me getting it running. an absolutely brilliant idea. the guys who did the piping didn't understand it until they saw it working..... was kind of funny.
UPDATE: went and got some hose today and relocated the idle control hose to AFTER the air flow meter. after the ECU figured out that it was back in the right place, the car began idling fine and is now back to normal.
on a less positive note, i think my transmission is already beginning to slip :-s
anyone wanna "lend" me a beefed up jatco for about 4 or 5 years?
