well i'm interested, but i have a couple of questions. is this a factory Calais Turbo? because from my interpretation of what QLDCAL said he seems to be implying it isn't or maybe i misunderstood what he is saying? also, was this black from the factory or was the colour changed? he also brings up another point, why would you rebuild everything to standard spec? btw just to clarify i don't think it's 'sus' i'm just curious that's all.

no its not a factory calais turbo, i bought it brown and got it painted, the mechanic who rebuilt my motor is also a spraypainter, i was originally going to just get the engine bay painted etc a bit like "jetbt1", but he told me my motor really needed a rebuild. I am only 18 (hence "p" plates on the floor in the pic) so i couldn't really afford a killer rebuild with forgies, plenum, t4, etc, etc, so i just got it done to stock specs and my parents helped me out on the way

oyea i also worked for 6 months in this workshop sanding down my engine bay coat after coat to get it to look as best as possible, and to save me heaps in labour from this mechanic/spraypainter and i have photos of me working on it, so i dont understand why getting a motor built to stock specs is sus? not everyone wants a 10 second streeter, although i would like one

I think you have done a awsome job, that is 1 of the best example of a VLCT I have seen on this site. A real credit to someone so young. And yeah not all of us want 10 second cars. I would rather somthing of this calibre then to waste money on someone elses 10 second thrashed out drag car at 2-3 times the prise of this awsome car. I to belive you will sell this, but not on here. Try other avenues, you'll have less hassle in the long run.

the car looks good!!!! but its not a factory calais turbo... was it a factory SL,exec or berlina turbo??? or was it converted?? when QLDCAL said SUS well you dont have to go over board with getting this done and that done etc... you got both the motor and trans rebuild etc the reason why he said sus was with the auto... for the same price you could of got a bigger stall and shift kit put in... no one is trying to have ago at you they are trying to get some answers.. also QLDCAL is after a "factory calais turbo" how do i know this, its coz we talk like every single night about what is around etc and what i think and afew of the other guys on the site.. the car looks good but the only thing that does let it down is the fact that its not a factory calais turbo...
