photochopping doesn't bother people, photochopping THEN claiming it's 800kw and 2mm off the ground bothers people.

i used gt gas shocks and dobinsons super lows which actually go lower than kings. dropped the bluddy thing 3 inch and pulled the hilux shocks that were in from last owners. i got 17's on with 235s and thats the car in the pic. it does ride a bit better than kings as there a bit less stiff however im not too happy about it. useually bottoms out and tilts onto the front gaurd when i go around a corner. and also have to do the old z manuver for the speed humps. may change one day. BADVLSL when you put new springs and shocks in it takes a while for them to settle in under the new weight hence making them slightly lower then in the pic.

I went out an paid $900 for a full pedders suspension setup and fitted it ll my self and for some reason i noticed that my ultralows in the front DID sit higher then the VR/VS NON IRS pedders springs in the back.. The ultralows took about a week or two to settle in where for some reason the rear pedders stayed the same height the hole time.. if not raised higher.. Ive also noticed that pedders springs are muchly better then the king springs (sorry to say that) but it seems as if i can chuck about 3 peopl in the back and it doesnt move any more then 0.5inch... where with the ultralows that i had in it moved about an 1inch!! Well to prove that my car is actually the low it is.... P.S VR/VS pedders springs suit VLs as they are the same diamter (part no, 2129) About 3 inches lower then stock (properly measured)

Let me guess.. lowered shocks, no springs.. (thats what i did in my VR 5ltr.. looked great, handled awesome...) bit bumpy.. but still good. If not, how did you get it that low? is it legal? and how many $$ involved? Cheers

If your talking to me, i bought vr-vs non irs springs for the rear and ultralowsfor the front... and i measured the rear to be only 2.25inches exactly lower then stock.. and pedders comfort gas for around $900 roughly.! same with ultralows.. they are SHYT! no offence.. but theyll only sit around 2.5inches lower then stock .. not 3 inches like what "King spring co." say.. So really dont believe what you are told.. see a VL with th height you want.. go for a ride in it.. see how rough it is.. if you like it... buy simlar setup to what he has.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i went for a ride in my mates vl 5lt calais, which the front was on pedders lows and the rears sat halfway down a 17in rim.... if u got 2 ppl in the back, the car wouldnt move coz the rear wheels were jammed into the roof of the guards. The ride was softer than my stock suspension, untill you hit a pothole, then it was nasty. His rears were severely cut... they only had like 2 coil revolutions on them.... MAN that was LOW, lowest vl i've ever seen!! (cept for the bagged wagon...) ush

yeah.. my plan is to put pedders in the front and cut the standard springs in half... that should do nicely..
