I will run my car at Willowbank and see what it does down the 1/4mile. What day is test and tune? Joel.

considering 5.7 Gen 3's on ly put out around 500-600Nm, i doubt your figure is accurate!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong but, 134rwkw would that be a similar figure to what a stock standard VN type EFI 5ltr would put out?, around 160-165kw@engine. If so then I really dont follow how this power level was achieved with such limited mods. Joel, I apologise for the doubt raised here in your figures, but as I read in street comm magazine a while back "If it ain't got it, it ain't got it" sorry dude. I dont understand torque muiltiplication so I wont go there, however power I do, so some dyno print out would put it to rest,

if these cars are auto's, i wouldnt believe those figures... are they 5spds? i know of a stock 5 speed that pulled 103rwkw. thats stock everything incluing exhaust.

so you went from 113rwkw to 127rwkw with just the tune? or have you done more since the last dyno?

Dyno run was done in shootout mode. Joel Joel, I don't think your lying, it's just hard to believe with very few mods. The only real way to backup the dyno results is to take the car down the quarter. btw. if you didn't know already, that worked rb30e silhouette is mine and its far from your mods. With that hp I ran a 14.83 @ 92mph at the 2003 Jamboree. Your car with 8 hp less and around 200kg less weight than mine should easily be able to beat that time or get high 92-94mph. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A stock 5 speed people would only pull 86rwkw's since sock at flywheel is 114kws less 30% for driveline loss!!!! Joel im pulling 117 at the treads and ive done a ****eload more work than you, but then again i haven't had the throttle body done and ive been told that they make a big difference but surely not that bigger difference! i work it out now and i would have around 130Rwkws with the Xf throttle

Being a manual. It would not lose 30% of its power. Yes the auto's do, although the manuals do not. My manual is faster then my mates auto who has a couple of better mods than mine... The power reading to me sounds about right. I dont know about the torque reading. Lets just wait and see the Dyno Graph and his run down the quarter mile before we start pointing fingers!

Gents, Does any-one want to host my scanned dyno sheet? Thanks, Joel.

Judging by the way he has handled the criticism I'd say he isn't lying at all. If you can tell me the RPM peak power was made and the estimated drivetrain loss percentage I can tell you your exact torque figure in Newton Metres and Ft/LBs at the motor. There is a formula to do it.

Roughly based on my own knowledge of where most VL's make peak power I estimate 350 NM of torque or about 257 ft/lbs. That is give or take 15Nm. But give me the exact RPM peak power was made at and the percentage loss through the drivetrain and I'll give you a figure accurate to within 5Nm
