brent,
did you look at fitting the coil overs to vr/vs struts which would allow finer adjustment of camber angle.
i looked at fitting std vr struts to mates vl but shaft doesnt fit into vl strut plate... got too hard....got placed in the corresponding basket.

Sounds good to me, my car should be worthy of its first outing shortly, just a few bugs to get sorted out.
Brent - that makes the coilover conversion look easy, might have to give that a go on an old set of struts. Where did you get the adjustable control arms? you make them?. Those alloy strut tops, are they the koni ones?. K-mac make an alloy strut top, but they were the only ones i could find, couldnt find any info on the koni ones over here.
cheers

I didnt make those ones, but I have coppied a set of arms since. very easy to do really, just need the right taps and dies as they have a turnbuckle in the arm so it can be adjusted on the car (LH and RH thread)
as I say I have a full step by step set of pics (like 30) and specs, if anyone is keen, chuck their email addy at me and I will see what I can do.
All parts in that piic ore off the shelf at Koni here.
Cheers

Does anyone know the part number you ordered to get front Koni yellow shocks? They are telling me they don't have anything suitable....

Brent - Koni NZ must have acess to more than Koni Aus, or they just look harder lol. I rang the distributor over here and he didnt know anything about alloy bearing plates.
I have been going to make up a set of adjustable upper rear trailing arms, might have a play with a spare set of control arms too.

Top performance are hopeless, they don't get off their ass untill you scream at them. And don't tell you what they have, you have to ask for it... The wouldn't tell me rear shocker specs to see what i could get for the IRS, i had to tell them..
And now i'm waiting for some springs (450lb Brent) because they forgot to order them from king... *bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch* I had to race on the 300's again last weekend.
Brent i've go about 7meg of space left if you want me to host the pics?
