it's all there for the learning neno, you just gotta ask the right people! the benefits of twin-charging are not too well known i think, purely because it's generally pretty hard to set up the drive for the blower and manage to get all the piping to fit. in a VL engine bay, it's practically made for it. heaps of piping room on the exhaust side of the engine, remove the air con unit and you have a nice space for the blower. it's easy enough to relocate the power steering pump to the other side of the engine, and bob's your mother's brother, you've got twin compressors. the other interesting thing is that this setup will generally make more power at the same boost level as a purely turbocharged engine, because the intake charge will be much cleaner and colder when combustion time comes around. rather than being mixed up with hot exhaust gases that couldn't escape the chamber, the intake air is clean and fresh, ready to burn. the big advantage is being able to keep boost pressure above exhaust back pressure, and making solid power everywhere in the rev range. enough ranting though, looks like i'll be saving up for a quick VLT and THEN twin charging it, it just seems the logical way to go.
