I have my guards rolled with 235/45's, still scrubs around the outer edge of the tyre, really annoying, leaves a nasty mark.

225/45/18's on the tyres ppl, wont rub at all.... thats what i had, and it was also lowered with and adjustable panhard rod.

Lads it doesn't matter if you lip the rear guards on some wheels.... if your wheels aren't the right offset you're fighting a loosing battle... having said that it depends on how bad the offset is.. .ie if the tyre is already sitting near level or even outside the guard new wheels will be required to fix scrapage

Thats right cos if you get HSV - 17,18,19's with 235's on em they will fit without scrubbing cos offset is awesome.... Fr18's etc are adjustable when you buy them...

The easiest way I found to roll the guards front and rear is to get a decent sized metal pole, about 3-4 inches in diameter. Get someone in the drivers seat and go forward and back with the pole jammed under the guard and "roll" the pole back n forth until desired rolling is done. If the car is too high, have a mate sit on the front or rear and do the above. I have done my VL and an old HJ that way and came out brilliant as the pole rolls and doesnt destroy the paint. Some care needs to be taken! Go easy and it will work great

Yeah I got 17" R8 mags and it used to scrub so hard! Had to put bigger springs in and yeah I MAY have got away with it if I had an adjustable panhard rod. so much better its not scrubbing now!!!

walkies suck for guard rubbing, my 235's are better on my 18x8's than the 225's were on the walkies.
