I go to westfields in the VL like once every 3 months. Anyone that I found touching my car I would have no hesitation in attempting to end their life. first id knock him out wif my baseball bat, then get the scissors outta my glove box and chop his balls off amongst other things. I am thinking about a security camera with a 24/7 monitor on my driveway next. My friends N/A VL was taken from Miranda Westfields car park while he was in the movies on a tuesday night (close to a yr ago now). This thing was immaculate. He didn't hav an alarm or anything (God knows why) but he did hav a nice set of 17's along with 2k worth of stereo setup. It was found the next day in campbelltown stripped and burnt to a crisp. The only thing he got off the car was the holden badge and the front numberplate. People, NEVER leave your car in an unattended carpark. NEVER park in any westfields unless its in security parking. Even then, I would check on it regularly. There is just too much scum out there. Thinking about this makes me AAANNNNGGGGRRRRRYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am tempted to park mine in a carpark on night, with a bunch of heavily armed mates and wait for someone to just try to knock it off. A good mate of mine was parked outside his g/f home with her in the car, and a Subaru drove past, then it did a U'e and came back. It parked across the road from him, and the bloke got out and come over to my mates car and tried to open the front door, due to the really dark tint and it being night time he didnt see my mate and his g/f. My mate opened the door got out, and chased after him, apparently he got a king hit to the back of the head of the would be theif, and took down his numberplate and reported him to the police. The bloke apparently was wanted on a number of charges including, theft of another motor vehicle, burglery, and the police were more than pleased to catch him.

Quote: my old vl was stolen near greater union cinemas atmiranda while watching a late night movie :/ Are you serious? Fck... I always park my VL there... never had any problems. Sht... that's too close to home... once I get my CalaisTurbo I'm gonna take the advice from this thread and park it in the security area. I've already got shtloads of security modifications planned. Upgraded alarm system, six killswitches wired up in sequence, two proper clublocks, a killswitch in the engine bay, a massive chain to wrap around everything, etc.

It always makes me chuckle reading replies to threads like these (no disrespect to the owner who has their car knocked off, that sucks) where all these pop up and say 'i'll come and bash them with my baseball ball, give them a left hook, poke their eyes out' or whatever. That might be fine for a pimply 16 year old who is stealing your car to buy his next foil and probably wouldn't know which way is up when you tackled him, but if you tackle someone who is in any sort of organised crime syndicate and i can assure you those guys have got something way bigger than a baseball bat on them and seeing as most of them would have a billion warrants on them don't think they aren't afraid to use them. If anyone is ever caught in this situation where they find someone flogging your car remember discretion is the better part of valour. Better to lose a car rather than your life.

They will never be by thereselves anywayz ther will always be some 1 watching them and stuff like that and yer if its organized man they are gunna have more den a baseball bat but i couldnt see a organized crime gang stealing a VL,calais or turbo because they cant really make money off the car like they would compared to a Merc or M3 BMW cars like that they make alot more money off or ship the car and sell it overseas. the 1's thats steal VL's are more like a bunch of mates dosent matter wat race they have a VL maybe needs parts for rego or somthin so they just steal another 2 get the parts they need sell the rest to make abit of cash. people have told me the nicer you make your car the more some1 will steal it but then i wouldnt want to give into a theif so my car looks ugly and dosnet get stolen and i agree with the seting up of a guy park ya car and wait thats great and also how stupid to use your own WRx to steal ur VL man like must have been him if you gave the copers his plates and they knew who he is. the other car would follow behind and make sure copers dont get behind him where theres more chance of getting pulled over. this is becoming an epidemic and it aint only VL's.

I'd rather die trying to kill the person that stole my VLT than sit back and let the **** sucker take my car.

BAd luck man. Wetsfield's are really bad. They tried to steel mine at work around 2 months ago when it was parked in westfield carpark. Didn't get it but ive had mine for 18 years. Security parking i sometimes use although now i get a lift. I was so cut at the time. I got my tyre lever out of the boot and walked around tyring to find anyone suspicious. The way i felt i think i would have killed whoever it was. Mate from work came out and saw me and got me to calm down and then you realise what might have happened if you had found whoever it was and they were carrying a knife, etc but at the time you don't think
