Jason is the LPG guru. He built my car along with many other sick cars...

Is he still around or if not do you have a number i could contact him on - just so when i get stuck for ideas i can talk to someone who's "been there done that". As i am find most mechanics and workshops piss themselves with laughter when i tell them i want to run gas, they all say you can't make decent power, and the thing will always be playing up. But i am very determined to get my car running well on the LPG.

More to the point, why will no-one be talking to him in a hurry?

There are a few things about fuel octane and in comparasin, gas can handle a higher compression, say 11.5:1 and get similar power to petrol with 8:1CR. This is due mainly to the octain rating of LPG. Water spray injection may work well with gas since it burns hotter / faster than petrol (including premium). Valve timing will be changed as well as ignition timing. An oil injecter may be required since gas runs too clean, unless you run petrol once every third time.

Gas is good. Bump the static compression up & shove more boost in to it. The octane is up over 100RON. I had a VS 5ltr that I gassed. I looked in to supercharging it. You can get gas injectors that replace the petrol injectors. Better performance fuel economy etc. When you do get a gas system get the best one you can afford as fuel economy is near that of petrol. I had a system put on the vs that tapped in to the O2 sensor to get the right A/F's when cruising. 450km's to a tank of Gas. Can't remember the size of the tank around 80litres

You guys have been more than helpful, the car will be going in to the workshop hopefully over the next fortnight - depending on availablity of certain parts, I can't wait till it's finished. Had enough of my car the way it is just drove it out from a different workshop Friday night after having the AFM replaced for the 3rd time, and the bloody fuel pump died so i had to have it towed home.

PSHHHT, Did you end up getting in touch with Gas Research? If so, what did they say?
