I ran a VX at the Creek in my Calais Turbo which had 214hp at the rear wheels. It was a good race. I got him out of the hole, our 60ft time was pretty even, I had him by 3 car lengths. Three quarter track he went past me. He won with a 14.3 and a ran a 14.5. I think he was on 99 mph and I ran 96 mph. He had an exhuast and cold air intake

I saw the Starr Performance Monaro has the plates (STARR) driveing through Templestowe, was tempted to stir him up but did not want to get embarassed, that thing is blown and would have well and truly ripped my ass . But I have knocked over a few VT and VX SS's stocko of course. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
