South... my theory was i'll never stop you guys giving me ****... its like asking for world peace, it'll never happen. SO i figured i may as well at least give you something to pick on me about. 87_DVL... mate the rims are looking REALLY **** at the moment. The are brand new rims so i swear when i clean them off, you'll be impressed. I mean the whole car looks dull because of the dirt.

no idea I'm sorry but 17's should have been got in the first place (so he got 16's) yellow is a turn for the worst (imo white looked better and that was shocking) and basically it won't be cool until it belongs to someone else (can this car ever be cool ? ) my 2c on the matter for the FINAL time. I promise Bring on the stock interior, lowering, and a for sale sticker/trade in on landcruiser J Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Jay - you're right, i should have gotten 17's but too late now. When these tyres get bald i'll get 17" rims and tyres. The dash and console do look pretty bad, and i'll do them black today IF i get some time... stoney - With the springs, i probably will just buy the springs and do it myself but i've spent my budget for this pay. Thanks for the idea of cleansol... i'll give it a shot. I was just going to use eucalyptus oil. Oh and the wheel... i swapped the cente pad on it because the Toyota one had the oval bit cut out. 87VLSL - haven't had time to get them off yet. There's a bit of a medical emergency in the family at the moment so i have had to drop all my plans for that. If i get time today i'll take them off. Overall i'm reasonably happy with how its come up now after cleaning it up. I do need to fix that dash surround. Performance is a little more responsive now... i wouldn't say its much quicker but it sure is more responsive. And Jay, no it never can be cool.

****ING TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!! Sikaflex is a ****. I'm sure its great if you wanna put something on and intend it to stay. but nooooo heaven help the poor ******* that wants to take it off. I went and got some Septone Grease & Wax remover... didn't make an ounce of difference.

Getting them off isn't the trouble... its the sikaflex thats set like concrete that is. I mean i tried a hair drier and it wouldn't melt it, and i'm scrubbing hardcore with Septone Wax & Grease remover and its just not going anywhere. I've got a caramel wheel for the drill but it damaged the paint in one spot so i put that away... its seriously ****ting me off now.

Try Eucalyptus Oil on the sikaflex, and a soft scraper like a wax comb- doubt you'd have one of them so grab ur Mums spatula Why the **** did you use sikaflex? Lol, that shift light must come in real handy on an auto... 16s dont look too bad on VLs cos they're smaller cars but they look crap on the big commos.

why does everyone keep picking on this guys car? it doesnt look that bad ive seen a ****load worse. the only thing that really lets the appearance down is the ride height but apart from that it looks pretty clean. Mate i say do what u want to ur car its urs and u must like it urself, dont just change things cos other people dont like it, even if it is a Toyota, or else ur living ur life from other peoples perspective. cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Gees guys... page one was going fine, now the bull****'s started again. VSTONV - **** off man... haven't you got something better to do? GMH-GEM - the count far exceeds 134 mate but yeah i am a little sick of it. And i never could work out why i cop so much **** from you guys. VLT_Wagon88 - mate i tried that to no success... i'm just back to using the caramel wheel gently now and it seems to be ok. I've gotten 2 doors and the front 1/4 panel done. I'm thinking about just taking it to a panel beater and letting them worry about it. OldGold - very handy indeed But yeah i know i should have gotten 17s but i didn't so deal with it till i do. 87vl - Mate i'm past caring what these guys think really, i like it how it is but it DEFINATELY needs to be lowered. I realise that. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

FINALLY!!! Door moulds are off. With only the boot left to go.. about friggen time. Sticker from the windscreen is gone. I'm going to Autobarn tomorrow to get a can of the right colour for the interior, and a can for exterior things to colour code the door handles, and maybe wing mirrors to. Hopefully by Saturday it'll be finished... all the little stone chips have been cleaned up now, and its getting a good wax tomorrow before its ready to go. And i managed to score some King LOW springs today for the thing for $80, brand new and never been fitted. Its gettin there... its a slow process but its gettin there.

Now that the moulds have gone, has it improved its looks. Give it a good polish where they were and it should look sweet. Another thing that would enhance its looks would be some Berlina/Calais tail lights with the clear indicator lenses. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
