coz my dad uses it in his 2002 van, he says its good **** and it costs heaps so it must be good - maximum protection moite. he used to use the penrite oils, the hpr40, the gas one that is for all our cars we got, but he ditched it for mobil 1 coz he said it's not synthetic. i'd also like to add that it was on special for like 52 sumwhere so my dad got 2 and gave one to me. chris.

anyone use Castrol?

yep boring old castrol $20 for 5lts ,engine is stock 290,000km, castrol for the past 8 years!

anyone heard nething about "ROYAL PURPLE" apparently its meant to be Tha ****... ne1 ??

Redline 40Wt here Royal purple is a good oil, more so for race engines.

im using castrol syn r. not too good. going to try motul next it is supposed to be very good stuff.

Has anyone used Motul Turbolight oil? Fully Synthetic and around 40 dollars?

I was using Mobil 1 last oil change then got told by my mechanic that there's a french engine oil called motul that he reckon's was the best!,So i went and brought the expensive stuff of motul i was amazed on the difference it had to Mobil 1! I be sticking to this engine oil for a long time now! Motul also have a webite if anyone is interested on how they make this best synthetic oil....
