ahahahah i read that article today ahahahahaha what a tosser it was acctully 12rwkw on 15psi i rekon the only true judge of hp is timeslip that proves you can acctully drive the car too and not just spend shetloads of money on an interior and wheels so you can get in a magazine anyway thats my 2c worth cheers luke

With the aftermarket ECU and still running the AFM... ill let that one slide! I had a haltech setup on my last VL, but kept the AFM there cos i was too slack to get a proper pipe made up! so yeah - could be the same deal! I eventually got a pipe made up and the AFM is sitting here next to me if anyone wants one! nice looking VL though! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Oh dear, SC mag using poetic licence again... My car runs Microtech but I have an airflow meter. Sure it's gutted and doesn't actually do anything, but if a cop was to lift the bonnet, it looks standard, maybe other owners have done this as well. But c'mon SC Mag, pull ya bloody socks up, losing credibility seems to be thier flavour of late.

oh yeah i reckon SKDMUP is a nice looking car and great work to the engine bay but reading the article and i think its kinda weird to c a turbo of any kind run 20 psi with no cooler (front mount). looking through the other sections i came across SC car of the year although its another thread in this site the monaro that won it was nice and all but i do feel for MR 355 he got best vl and best interior but he deserved more.

Quote: Thats my biggest problem with street commodores these days, all they seem to care about is late model HSV's , you get a vl turbo every now and then, but thats about it. i love reading OLD street commo's mags and commodore crazy etc, at least they had a bit of variety. true, all they care about is LS1 poo.

Shocking, in the article it says 20psi 120kw. And then on the fast facts or whatever its got 15psi 120kw.

bro we r criticising the article. look im sure he knows alot about cars cause look what hes done ok. SC have made this car out to b a monster machine in which im sure it is, but the article could b misleading cause alot of ppl on this forum either own a vl turbo or know a S***load about vl's and know that its highly impossible to run high psi with no cooler. personally i think 20 psi no cooler is a bit coming out of the backside and only 120kw? now thats something u dont c too often is it. that is y we r criticising man
