morepsi: just get your standard turbo hiflowed to t04e specs, cost around 1k with pretty much everything bigger and better. You can then run the same dump pipe, and even internal gate (mine has a bit of modification done so it can hold a bit more boost). The cam made alot of difference I felt, once it hits boost it just rockets up to limiter!

Hey OMY30l, I have nearly exactly the same mods as you. I am pulling 212rwkw on only 14psi as the motor is fresh. I have forged pistons however. Where did you get the car dyno'd? Also, my cam is old, I think I nedd to change to a stage II JPC one. Is that what you are running?

5spd Calais: My car got dynoed here in Sydney and was tuned by haltech guru the Hitman. Just talk to JPC and tell them what sort of power / setup you want and they will help you out. They were very helpful when I spoke to them while I was down in Melbourne earlier this year.

can you explain a bit more about the mods done to your wastegate? has it been enlarged? I might call ATS here in Adelaide and see what thier quote would be.

I made 175 rwkw on only 9.5 psi on just a setup run GT35 Ball bearing turbo PSR 45 mm external gate Standard plenum Cooler Link ECU Exhust Just needs a nice fuel system 036 injectors and a 044 fuel pump and it should make 230 - 240 rwkw easy on about 16 -18 psi which ishould have by Xmas, all work done by JPC and they are great, told me that a auto loses easy 20rwkw over a manual.

Hey stockvlt, How much did the external gate cost you and do you have any trouble with the EPA? Do you think this is worth doing?

Only had car back for 3 weeks so no hassle yet, but I can tell you they are worth it if you have the money, not only do they look good they hold boost spot on, cost me $660 plus fitting to standard manifold, I had not much choice running the turbo I do. By the way they sound awesome, twice as lond as a internal gate

I called ATS (adelaide turbo sales) and got a quote of $1600 to have my T3 built to TO4E specs. so I can still retain the standard dump and exhaust manifold.
