when i have been defected they always look under my bonnet and i have a blow off valve and catch can and never been done for it jsut been done for my exhaust and protrusion on my intercooler and just other stuff like locka and no water in my washer bottle and soem other little stuff but if the motorbikes cant go louder then 94db's then harley's shouldnt even be aloud to be bought they would well over 100db's and how the cops do the exhaust for loudness is wrong they rev it to 4200rpm most ppl dont even rev there car out that far especially in neutral cops can just **** off get the real crims instead of us ppl wit nice cars there shouldnt be a law for having a nice car

the test for dB in Vic is ment to be at 3,000rpm after that it don't matter what it is.. Some new ferraries have a solenoid that at 3,100rpm it clicks over and bypasses the mufflers and works as a straight through pipe. On my bro's V8 we had a similar cut off but it was on a manual switch, so when ever we wanted we could switch between a low stockish exhaust to a straight dump just before his Y-piece. Their made by Mr-Muffler and called exhaust cut-outs made at 2,3/4 inch and 2,1/2 inch versions, if anyone wants to buy one, i don't think it would be that hard to get an auto elec to hook up a solenoid to switch it once it's hit over 3,000rpm ish...

As for catch cans, they are illegal - why, i dunno exactly why, but i can tell what ever the reason, it'd be a bunch of **** anyway. Basically, if you didn't buy your car like it is today, it's illegal. In NSW mtorbikes can be up to 120db, pre 85 (i think) 95db and 92db for 86 to current models. I can't understand how a motor bike is allowed to be A LOT louder then a car, isn't that discrimination???

For **** sakes, you pay $500 a year just to have your car on the road, then you have to pay extremely high insurance prices, then you gotta pay rediculous prices for fuel. Pity on you ****s who voted for this labour fvk to run our state.

BOVs also vent any blow by that is plumbed back into the intake piping, ie mixture of oil/fuel

Are plumb back BOV's illegal? What advantages/disadvantages does a plumb back have over an atmo vent BOV?

plumb back BOVs are legal advantages *legal *less noise (debatable) *less Air Flow Meter confusion disadvantages *this is another debatalble point but if you believe what you read on BOV websites then "hot" air is recirculated through system *less noise (debatable)
