I know that is a fair way off, but i think that might be more suitable , Shouldn't be any excuses for people not to be organised for it. That would be a long weekend, would double demerits or traffic be a problem? OMY30L and JET88C will be back on the road by then too, won't they? Double Demerits do apply on Australia Day. I know because I was busted for speeding last year on my way to Sydney from Port Maquarie on Australia Day.

We'd want to hope so having them ready by then! Australia Day is actually my brothers 21st bday (cue the drinks....) but that would be taking place on the weekend (and possibly again on return of cruise!). Doesnt have to be a public holiday though, 2 out of 3 of our cruises were not on pub holidays and went well. Still open for other ideas....

Some time in January will suit me best, my vl calais will have been rego'd by then, wont be finished completely but itll be drivable and ill be keen for a cruise.

my VL will be sold by australia day, will probably have a VX Clubsport tho..

welll they have finally stopt ***ing around now so it should be coming home next week from the spray shop to put all the new bits bak together
