my mate owns competition coatings in Sydney. Guildford pm me and ill give u his number. $829 is quite a bit for coating your manifold dude... and $20 bucks a piston is too cheap... youd be very suspicious of what brand/quality the company is using. Robs work is regarded as one of the best in the industry. alot of big names use his coatings, not just from sydney but melb, QLD, etc heat dispersents, thermal and teflon coatings. from my memory dumpipe the black coating is actually cheaper, does take more temp, and doesnt fade. where as a few times on the dyno in the silver coating and it dulls. is more expensive but it does look good.

punani, as HSVSUX said, Std piston's and std head gasket will be sufficient. It's all about the 'tuning'

the standard injectors max out at 14psi.... so becareful, with the boost. as tempting as it is. ive had my car tuned when it had the factory bottom end with 22psi and they were ok.. however you do shorten the amount of time before it grenades itself. but i had a stack of fuel etc to keep it from leaning out.

as HSV SUX said, as long as the tuning is right they will last. i have std pistons in mine, and with the correct tuning of the autronic i will be running 18-20psi regards mark
