Expect approx 20rwkw loss with the auto compared to the manual on the 'same' dyno. However auto will achieve quicker and more consistent ET's. 310rwkw in street tune is a fairly big feat. Transbrake on the street is usless I know. Great with slicks on though! If you launch using the foot brake and convertor you can balance the wheelspin and get a good take off. Question: at what point does an auto box become quicker down the 1/4 mile? ok to qualify that a bit, if you had two gearboxes, say a beefed up jatco 3 speed with 2800 stall, and a manual VLT box, how powerful would the car need to be so that the auto was quicker down the 1/4? assuming of course that the driver is pretty quick at changing gears and all else is equal.

They wont need more power because the manual will have wheelspin but the auto has a good take off and generally will hold it to the end of the quarter
