I was told the SC14 doesn't like high rev's ie over 5500rpm. They become inefficient and dont blow hard enough making them not soo good up top.

Yeah I guess i should have written multicultural, but think about it, how many backyard butchered VL engine bays are there? to quote a great movie "a piece from here, and a piece from there"

Gidday, Can I just ask how the hell you got your plenum/rocker cover so bloody shiny? Did you do it yourself? Rhys. (the XF throttle body sounds like its worth it, even on a fairly standard - not cammed chipped etc engine?)

isn't there a coolant hose that goes through the origional throttle body? i think it has little importance in hot weather (its supposed to stop the butterfly from freezing shut). did you just bypass it with the longer hose that is looped from the front of the plenum and goes underneath the throttle body?

The black pipe, to the right of the pod is my cold air setup. It now feeds into the blower. Hey jsut a question, U put a blower on ur VL? how much extra hp did u gain, have u got instructions on how to set it all up? How much as the conversion cost? Thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Mate, Took them too a metal polisher here in Brisbane. $60 for rocker cover and $30 for inlet manifold. Regards, JR.
