[email removed]........... thats the person on the street commodore forums. she replied to my mail it seems she is the owner. its a 3 peice kit that would not flip but would fit like the genuine one. It would take 3 weeks from day of order and would have to pay on order if u dont pick it up. thats all she said. if i get a pic i'll post it.

somebody should have a pic by now? i can't see why any part of it would be illegal - if its still pumping out enough light and everything works like normal then yeah. and by works like normal i don't mean eyelids popping up. as i wouldn't want that anyway, like most people.

3-piece would be the 2 corners and the center pieces moulded as one. The original VL calais front's were fibreglass anyway, only the brackets, rods and motor (apart from the 3 metal pieces that go on the eyelids and piece where the calais badge goes. the original calais front's only had 5-pieces of fibreglass anyway... 2x gaurd extensions (corners), the big black with everythign bolted 2 and 2x inner eyelids, then the 3-metal plates screw on, so really u only have to change the colout of 5-little pieces for a genuine... i am interested in these fronts too, ask on bulk prices.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

R u sure about the infrmation u wrote about the 3 peice.....so does it mean that getting the front end off fibremaster would give me the complete calais look in the fron with nothing more to add?

I've disconnected my eyelids from going up when the lights turn on and i don't get any hassles from the notoriouse Victorian police force, so i don't think they have to go up. Not much light difference anyway.
