Quite sure they were delivered without the lip fitted, and the dealer/buyer could do so at their own discretion.
Mine use to be 100mm as i got pulled over by the cops 4 years ago down Gold Coast-they had a stick with a wheel on it that was 4"dia and it just touched the underside of the bottom piece. They let me go but then talked to me for an hour about my Walky, very rare these days. Its now about 127mm as i have fitted 19"wheels(had 17")
I may have over estimated 100-125mm but before i put the 19" on i compaired them next to the original 16"rim and it was at least 25mm bigger.I duck down to the garage with a tape measure and confirm the ground clearance.
I was close-its now 120mm.I also mesured the outside dia of both tyre sizes,19" was 630mm(245x40 series Falken)and 16" is 610mm(205x55 series). Hopefully i won't have to repair the bottom front bib as much anymore.
Bonus for your front bar but definetley not for your speedometer accuracy. 245/30/19 would be the closest you could get to factory tyre circumference. With the 245/40/19 you will be travelling about 7.5% quicker than it indicates.
Corsa
Thanks for that Corsa, havn't driven it much since i bolted on the 19's.Also i just doubled checked they are 245 35 series not 40 series as i stated before. Had 17" 235 40 series for 9 years on the Walky.
