yea, thought i had, but its still playing up. so i figure unless some1 can help with a pic or something i've put the wire back. the mechanic suggested power has to be supplied to the curcuit to DISengage the clutch, so disconnecting the solenoid constantly may shorten the life of the box significantly.
Thankyou all for your help tho. I'm selling the car once i've had it fixed.
