Quote: something i saw when searching for my leak was the screw that held the 1/4 window mould on at the bottom towards the back. could be it, could not be!!, just have a look Hey were abouts is this screw thing, i can't seem to find it. Is it near the rear seatbelt thing as it seems wet around that area. It's so giving me the ****s, over the last few days it's been raining my boot keeps getting more and more water in it. Any help would be great

The only way to find out where water is coming into the boot, is to get someone in there with a torch, and someone else on the outside, with a normal garden hose, hosing around the rear window, boot seals, and rear tail lights. Thats how we do it at work Have fun..

as CalAis TuRBo said getting in the boot is the way to go. I did this and found the leak in a matter of seconds.

alright. take the black sorround of the back passenger windows, as in the side ones. there is plastic around the quarter panel, under it is a ventilation thingy in the metal which should have foam in it. The standard foam will have deteriorated and will let the boot leak. Get new foam that is fairly resistant to soaking up water. I can garuntee this will fix at least one of your problems.

Hey guys found another spot. My boot was leaking aswell and i couldnt find a damn leak anywhere till one day i saw on the rear window rubber, water on the inside!!!! Turns out the water was coming in between the glass and the rubber and the w/screen sealer stuff had deteriorated away. Fixed it by scraping all the old stuff out then loading it up with a fresh layer of w/screen sealer. Never been drier,(shoulda been a huggies add or something) Try that if you havent already fixed it. TIP just push on the rubber at the bottom of the window and see if any water squeezes out on the inside! HAPPY HUNTING Mungar

hey mate. my boot was getting water in it and it took me and my old man ages to find it. eventually we found that there were actually 2 spots. one spot was on the side of the car, the black stuff that goes round the lights and curves round the side of the car has pins that go straight through the metal. these plastic clips had broken leaving a small hole under all the plastic. i hope that made sense. the other spot was the bottom right corner of my window, chucked some silicone in between the rubber and the window and now all is good. jezz
