looks like i might hold out my body repairs until after the cruise the car looks good, except for a huge ding on the door and a few scratches down the other side of the car. ive also got my diff and gearbox to get in order, theyll take much less time to fix, so might get them done first ill see how long the panelbeater can wait for this is the first deadline ive tried to meet since a school assignment lol

I doubt I'll be turning up in GMH. The work on the car will be starting as of Wednesday and it'll be ready after the set cruise date. Just wondering if anyone would wanna postpone till July when there might be a chance of seeing snow on the mountains? Hmm, didn't think so, the date's been set already. Looks like my mates VLI3OL will be making an appearance again, thats if his is on the road as well. I'm gonna have to find a way there regardless, I cant miss out on this cruise. Luck's not favouring me at all this year.

By the way, does anyone know of the dangers of BLACK ICE on the Blue Moutains roads? Do they exist and should we be aware of it when driving?

I think you only get the black ice when it is either real early morning or late at night. I don't think it will worry us in the middle of the day. (hoping)

as long as we can put this "black ice" in our bourbon and cokes i think its a great idea Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

black ice is pretty much a myth the last time i remeber black ice on the road it only shows up just before u get to lithgow was about 15yrs ago so u can pretty much bet ur bottom dollar there will be no black ice

vl.turbo = I got my car up on the dyno earlier tonight. We put a bodgy t-piece on in 2 mins so I could adjust the boost on the dyno before we left. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good None the less, 10 psi was the most it could hold, but the result was 330rwhp. I was f*****g stoked with that much power, especially on only 10 psi. I have a couple of things to fix up in the coming weeks, and will be tuned again for 15-16 psi, looking for an easy 370rwhp. Annoyed that is is pissing down rain, as I haven't had the chance to let it rip yet. Half throttle in the wet results in big angles! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I've had a decomp plate put in to bring the high NA comp down a little bit. Before it was just way too high - the JPC cam works really well.

so ur pumping this much power out with a stock engine except for the cam and the bolt ons. Standard internals, pretty impressive
