15-04-03, 18:21 GMT+10#21 Why is it such a big deal to drive 72kms to get to Calder??? 3/4 of an hours drive is a cheap price to pay to race and do burnouts i recon. Its going to be a little more expensive when you cause an accident or even kill someone! My biggest fear of driving is KILLING someone else! This should be the first thing on everyones mind! I dont think i could live with that sort of thing hanging over my head!
But it every man for himslef.

15-04-03, 22:07 GMT+10#22 have seen cops in a a HK sedan with roof racks and surfboard, have ben done by cops in most every under cover car they had between 87 and 93 and they used all kinds of things, some very surprising shiiters like that HK.
Saw one recently in a red 2 door celica - NOTE: highway patrol will almost always be wearing the leather cap and a police shirt - if your unsure be careful.
personally i like it - i am sick of the ****heads who dont know when and where to let it rip.

15-04-03, 22:37 GMT+10#23 Since owning a VL I have been pulled over 3 times for doing nothing, just a routine licence check, what a waste of time ! 8O I never got a canary or nothing but one of the time my licence expired and i coped $250 fine
I didnt even get a letter from VIC roads telling me to renew my licence the lazy p**fs. Tried to appeal and was unsuccessful.
The **** cop on motorbike said "I cant drive my car home, coz my licence expired" I told him get a life mate I got to go to work its just a fee I got to pay your full of ****! Cop said "ok, I didnt see you" ! What a wank and still gave me the notice.
I was done mainly in SE suburbs. My car is a sleeper too!!!! 8) 8O

I agree with ya Begbie to many wankers out there who just go and do nothing but bring attention to decent VLT owners.

14-05-03, 09:09 GMT+10#27 all so true - but also the point about calder -
think about it this way
40 dollars entry
30 dollars fuel to get their and back
1 hour drive
car dies - 200 dollars plus for a tow back
thats what turns people off even myself - but it doesent mean that street racing is ok coz its not -but for that much money - its a waste

I think that the cops would have troubles with that because there would be so many people that would steal them and break them
hehe... a mate of mine flogged a speed camera that got him... stupid ******* got seen doing it though and he was reported! He tried to ditch it in a lake, but after he got busted they pulled it out of the lake and he had to pay for a new one.

15-05-03, 03:10 GMT+10#37 Just last week 3 of my workmates were starting the 11pm shift and happened to enter the service lane (on Princes Hwy) together in single file... all of a sudden a divvy van pops up from nowhere and follows them all the way to the end of the court. OF course once the guys promptly entered the work premises, the van left.. hehe they couldnt believe it.
had the guys hung around for a smoke or something, there wouldve been some Q&A and inspections 4 sure... so da jacks are sniffin' for makeshift strips or doughy pads in these surrounding industrial areas it seems ?! :?
