You're all just bloody soft... that mountain isn't that bad. You all just drive 15 year old cars with **** handling *ducks for cover* Seriously though you can't do anything bathurst style down it but you can go a little quick if you know what you're doing. I sure wouldn't do it in the wet though. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hahaha I suppose you knew that comment would come back to bight u in the ass ! Dude there is absolutely NO room for error up there on that mountain, coming up or goin down. I for one wouldn't even attempt to 'go a little quick' in any car up there.. the only way for you to go 'a little quick' would be to cut the already tiny lanes and risk a possible head on collision with oncoming traffic who mind you, are probably driving safely and carefully. The only way to go down Mt Gravatt mountain is off the side of one of its cliffs with no barriers. Ollie

Sounds pretty safe I'll tell you what's safe, we've got a pretty narrow and steep windy road we came back on from the adelaide cruise, and WTF, an undercover copper pulled up on the "side" (about 25cm of gravel on the edge ) of the road... what an idiot, people are doing like 25km/hour up there don't know how many people he would have caught speeding Personally, I'd rather not risk any chance of flying off the side of a cliff... but hey maybe that's just me well.. until I get some of those james bond style wings for my car anyway (what were we talking about again? ) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Actually, I stand corrected. My car will be 17 in March. I wonder how much it would cost to hire that road for the day. Dont worry, we'll give the VS better odds due to its IRS problems. I still got $50 that says the VL comes out on top. I got $20 that says the VS goes over the top. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
