yeah the Cultus is the scabby version of the Escudo in GT2
Imagine how much HP the japs could be getting if they started with bigger engines instead of pissy little ones 8O

if you start with an rb20 with the intention of makin it put out huge amounts of power stop being a tin arse and spend the extra money and do it properly get an rb26dett... at the least and rb25det, rb20's are a good motor that take an enormous beating but you cant go past the bigger brothers after all bigger is better especially when teamed up with a couple of turbo's

Don't think you guys how much work is involved in making a rb26 into a rwd car (plus is so bloody dear its insane). The RB25 is too dear to purchase (3 grand is way too much), and the comp is way too high. RB20 are under a grand each and to get it back on topic I don't think this guy was building this car with a 8 second quarter in mind. Its not too hard to get a RB20 into the high 11s but from there on in you WILL need a stroker kit. As for standard turbo you would be insane to keep it, of course it would go.

Jap thrive on revs ... non-pissy motors aka clunkers don't rev as much. With a turbo that doesn't come on boost until 6-7 grand regardless of the capacity, you don't get much boost time. Japs love to fit stroker kits to 2jz and R26 to take them out to 3.0L - 3.2L, to them thats a big block. they can still get 11 grand rev limiters out of em.
