I'd have to agree with VLT87 - planning on going out to intentionally do skids is going to attract alot of unwanted attention, and cops will be on the watch if they know. If you go on a cruise, and a little bit of action happens to eventuate by one or two people - i can handle that, and it will always happen with alot of young drivers in powerful cars in the one place. If archerfield can be "rented" out for a day (or even just a few hours), then I know i'd be there with some spares to see just how much smoke i can make (in front of all to see) without having to worry about cops as its in a LEGAL venue. Granted that doing it in a legal venue doesnt have the same "thrills" as doing a quicky in a carpark and heading off before the cops arrive, but it should give some of the smokers in the group a big relief of being able to do it, over and over, until we're tired out (or out of tires, whichever comes first). Even if its a single spinner - bring it to a burnout pad and go wild - i've seen stocko ****heap sigma's at burnout comps trying to light up one wheel in front of heaps of people !!! i'm sure in a "private" burnout session some of the vl owners out there wont mind trying (even if they do fail to do so, as the case will likely be with me!!) hehe.. I say the next cruise is an organised one to a place we can legally burn some rubber - and im sure its not out of budgetary constraints if we have enough people to commit to coming (even if it is just to watch or video some VL's (or other cars) bag it up big time !)
