actually, the jaycars have been tested many time and have achieved slightly over 100WRMS. I'd like to know your sources for the 75wrms figure??

yes from jaycar electronics or go to http://www.advanceae.com.au/car/index.htm and look for the jaycar 4x100 in the amplifier section and order online. You can get it cheaper this way and advance is a reputable dealer.

OK, i've been looking around and just been down to JB HI-FI and got the following quote... - 2 x 12" JL Audio Subs 12W04 (125wRMS) $279 each - AL Amplifier Wiring Kit (kit has 4 and 8 gauge power wire, all amp leads for 2 subs and 2 amps, speaker leads, connectors, fuses...) $ 150 - Pods for front doors with tweeter mounts might make my own $150 - JL Audio Front Speakers with Tweeter YR600 60wRMS 2 way 6" splits $379 - Cadence Amp Q2000 2x60wRMS/1x200wRMS (were told this brand just beat kicker in an American competition) $339 Best Deal i could get was the lot for $1330 and then i'll get the Jaycar Response 4x100WRMS Mosfet Car Amplifier for $370 off the internet... what do you think of that?

sounds pretty good. are those prices just the ones they have on their signs?? cuz buying that amount of gear u shud be able to get around $200 of the total amount.

each of the prices next to each item is the price that was on the sign for each one... it comes to a total of just over 1500 and the guy worked it out and said $1330.... is there any other places where i can get pods from that are a bit cheaper? the ones at JB come in all these different colours which would be good cos i could match it to my interior... but they're a bit expensive...

um just make em ur self. would be much more satifying as well. Im currently in the process of making my own pods and altho i'm startin to get the ****s with em, in the end it'll be worth it. PM ur email address an i 'll send you a guide to making door pods for VL's
