A few years back I used to go to the Deer Park drags on Station Rd. It was at the shopping center with the whole carpark chock-a-block full of cars. There was a set of lights right out front and 3 lanes each way. **** loads of races and all the cops could do was drive around a watch, too many people to do anyhting

Nah, there's supposedly "drag meets" up here, according to my friends, and they take place in lilydale and the surrounding areas, but the guy who tells me these things is a bit...of a ****. My other mate checked out these "drags" and didnt see anything.
well i have been many times before, and the reason i say 500 cars, is because that is what i heard on scanner.
these things go off... i've seen one of the more 'insane' cars from this site at them a few times, and a lot of the ones you see at the calder meets from fullboost.com.au

Dave, the Croydon car show held at the Croydon Market on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, is actually a well organised night it's run by the Mountain District Hot Rod club I think, with a fair turnout of modified "OldSchool" cars but I have seen a couple of new cars there on occasions. But after the show some cars head out on some roads for a bit of "Raceing" good fun to watch, as alot of the cars race at Calder.
As for my car I drive her once a week to my girlfriends house, And I drive a ****box Mazda 929 everyday to work.
I'm fairly busy these days but I 'am currently restoring a 10 second Calais for a mate, which I hope to have finished in 3 months time.

Wouldnt have a clue man, but I guess that's what I'll be finding out this saturday.
Meet up at 10am (early, I know).
The guys seem nice enough though, and they dont exactly all have show stopping cars (which is lucky for me 8)).
Should come, I'm trying to get a few locals to go...

yeah, what was with that!?
I think Bozz and au2low said some kinda dumb stuff (about Vn's mostly) but they seem to have done a fair bit of work on cars, and I know on the way back when I was following the skyline guy (bozz) i kept up on corners with him, but on the straight he would cane **** out of me...
Looks like all my money's gonna be spent on go-fast bits, and not that bodykit
