EVL 87.. ur car is epic. hope all ya photos turn out. and u guys should see craig.aka.drifter69 in the wet! he must be hung like a horse:P hope the pics all turn out. catch yas. jeffo signing out.late.
Hi guys, not bad turnout for the cruise. Next time though can you all please wait up for anyonre who for some reason or another falls behind? I mean there were four of us up the back of Daybro, then our group split in half, me and Hamish went flying back down through Smaford and out Strahpine onto the freeway to catch you all. beat you all to Ettamogah pub, Waited for a goo 25mins, Then the first pack went flying past, Tried to catch em, lost em. Found em again, pulled over on side of the road, caught em, lost em. Went home.
I had to keep calling Rob to find out where everyone was. Gotta get a CB.
Still though, had fun. there aint nothing like screming through Daybro going back towards Samford doing 160km+ downt hose roads with another VL right up your ass.
Cheers, pete.
ps. my mates got Digi pics, I will try and get him to send em to me so I can upload em.
yeah.. cb's come in heaps handy...
what you need idealy is one person with cb up the front, one at the back, and a few in between. if you get split by traffic lights or whatever, the forward group should pull over and wait for the group behind (in a safe spot obviously). have 2 or 3 cars that KNOW where they are going to be able to stop off and direct the rest of the cars through difficult or hard to find turnoffs etc...
all-in-all though, was a good cruise

im with insanevl.. i reckon that for the harder parts of the cruise constant stops should be made if the pack gets spit up by lights or what eva. hey ne of u guys got msn>? add me.. [email removed]
This is for whoever owns the brown(gold?) calais with the chrome mags and phat intercooler out front who came yesterday.
What sort of BOV are you running, it sounds sweet and I wanna get one.
I think your plates were stko3 (sorry if its the wrong car).
Yeh i agree, especially with those f***ed up lights at the road works as we were coming down the mountain, i think everyone nearly went up the arse of everyone else :P
yeah.. i had to hit the anchors pretty hard there, and i was only doing a steady 37 kph coming up to it !! was afraid of the car behind me not being able to stop in time either, but he was able to pull it up...
you ppl should have been taking notice of the road signs , there was a big bright mofo sign sayin traffic lights - 100meters.
even though i naerly nudged spool or turbolukes bumper.
nah it was good turnout but im sure a saturday night one would be better as ppl would stay longer etc.
oh for id purposes i was the silly c u n t that had tranny fluid comin out the overflow hose and straight onto my exhaust , therefore creating somewhat of a smokestorm
yeah.. i saw the signs... hence i was doing under 40 kph.. but that still wasnt slow enough for the traffic lights just around a blind corner and 20-odd cars following pretty close..
psi 86 i own the bronze calais stk03 (not ***n brown!) hehe. and the blow off is from subzero some weird custom **** i guess. think it was like 600 buvcks from memory 8O
