Quote: That's 2 knob posts from you at me today. probably because u deserve it. Quote: At least I thought of something somewhat original. Der put an LS1 in man der. in perth i dont know any that is putting a ls1 in a vn, so its pritty new in perth. der. [quoteI said the kit would be based on the VY SS kit not put one on. For example you start off with that kit and customise it to suit the VN rather than spending 10 grand fabricating one yourself. You knob.
10 grand to fabricate your own hahahahhhaha [quoteI've got a good engine conversion for you Destroy. Take the POS motor out of your car, and insert into your rectum. You should get about 25 RWKW at your arse.
1, what would be the point of this? 2, it was a good idea, except how can u put a motor up your rectum? 3, how could you dyno it when its up your ass, have you experienced this?

Hey fellas keep it on track. a VN Engine would never fit in someone arse so lets not suggest it. I have heard they make good boat anchors once they hit 200,000kms

V6 Holden Superchargers. Cheap power! Here is power at will, a clutch operated supercharger and fitting kit. The blower is clutch driven and engaged with a simple switch the same as air conditioners. Three and a half pounds of boost straight into the manifold. A 30% power increase is there when you want it, then just turn it off. The kits include all necessary parts including the blower, mountings, intake and air cleaner, relief valve, manifold pulleys and belts. http://www.rodshop.com.au/accessory.htm i hope this will make a bit more sence then some of the posts here

I have heard they make good boat anchors once they hit 200,000kms We decided to give one in my brothers car a freshen up as we bought it from someone who went for lengths of 30,000 kms without changing the oil. It eventually went and the previous owner (my auntie) had new rings & bearings fitted,we found it had worn camshaft lobes from this on our teardown, was caused from lack of oil. The first teardown was done at 150,000 kms and was caused by not changing the oil. The second teardown was done at 500,000 kms,the rebuilt engine did 350,000 kms, didn't blow smoke, still went well but leaked oil as the rear main seal wasn't fitted properly, cylinder number 2 had a 1mm ring gap in it as I believe it went for 30,000 kms again after the first rebuild WITHOUT an oil change, however,we wanted to fully freshen the motor up. We fitted a good second hand camshaft, new rings, had the heads rebuilt & fitted with K line inserts,we also fitted a Crow roller timing chain. We are yet to drive it but the engine has been run a fair bit and hasn't leaked a drop of oil as a lot of people claim they do (i.e. leak fullstop). It is in every aspect as good as the Nissan motors in durability, but they don't run as smooth from the factory and they have a hell of a lot more bottom end torque, this concludes that the Buick engines being a P.O.S is a fallacy.
