Quote: JETVL: Anything you can tell us about the RB gemini.. sounds very interesting.. it would go good since it is soo light. Must have massaged a bit from the engine bay. take care VLWPN..This Gemini was to receive the 10.03@134mph driveline out of the Red car before the accident but now he,s givin it up and another mate has bought it and is gunna finish it off and it will surely be a weapon when completed, it has a 3link adjustable rear end and chassis mods so it will hook up well and wont be twisting anywhere in a hurry...... Quote: Yeah I've seen a late model Gemini fitted with an RB30et last time I was down at P.e.t, They basically cut the whole firewall out and had to rework the transmission tunnel to fit. Red RB30 Jet....Yes i heard PET were doing 1 aswell although im not sure what model it was... Quote: I've also seen a little white Mazda 1300 four door fitted with an RB30et and 5 speed as well, it was at the Shepparton Spring car nat's a couple of years back and had a custom plenum and big intercooler, and boy could this thing rip some mean 360's Yeah ive seen a KE20 Corolla aswell fitted with 1 and it ran 13.0s on 10psi without a cooler...guy sold it for $3500.. Quote: The Rajab's new race car look's good and should pull the times, And at least the Rajab car will have a decent body and paint compared to that JPC car it has the roughest bodywork I've seen on a racecar, the Panel beater who did that car should be shot I couldnt have said it better myself RB30JET, i mean JPC and Ben have for aaaages been trying to pass there RACECARS off as streetcars when in fact they are purpose built Racecars with mostly fibreglass panels, JPC was even tryin to say Vas,s car IS NOT tubbed whatsoever when in fact it has a 10in rim and a 11.5in tyre under it, if that was the case the Rajabs woulda fitted the same size tyres a loooong time ago, but theres no way on this earth they will fit without tubs... It was plain unfair to compare Alberts car with everything that car had in it to 2 devout strip only cars, BUT now as ive said lets compare apples with apples not only against Vas,s car but Bens car also and see how things change, AS NOW i reckon there ALL on a level playing feild.. Also This car retains full steel panels except boot and bonnet and lexan side windows and has all working lights..etc Petros...Im progressing slowly, lots of hospital for me ATM so i wont be going anywhere fast anytime soon, my car will be raced by Alan when completed and should easily be within the top 3-4 cars...should be the fastest Street rego,d VL in oz so hopefully if all goes well the Rajabs should not only have the fastest VL Racecar but also the Fastest VL Streetcar, as you yourself know the car and can verify its not ***t with...Its full steel and will be drivin to and from the track when raced.... Quote: i remember talk ages ago that the Rajab's were building a flat out race car and all that before the accident. Is this the car that was being referred to? jjj6...This car was slowly being built by Albert over a 3 month period leading up to the accident while waiting for Alan to return, and is up to this stage now coz Alan knew how bad he wanted this car to be finished and how he wanted to show all these SO CALLED big Turbo companys that a couple of backyard broady panelbeaters can build VLs that can not only match it with them, but kick there asses and look good while doing it... Quote: if you look at the roof of the car, and body in general you can see a ****LOAD of dust... so i am pretty sure this shell had been done ages ago.. though someone in the know can confirm it seul...The dust cant be helped, you can wash the car and its this dusty the next day, it cant be helped with all the panelbeating and sanding going on around it, Car is only around 3 months in the making so far from a shell till now, we were heading back to the factory that exact night so albert could sand the engine bay and floors ready for paint, but fate had it that that would never happen...The car was finished by Alan and Bill who have both put there hearts and souls into finishing it and making sure its perfect... Quote: from what i herd it was the last car that albert sprayed before that tragic accedent R.I.P correct me if i'm wrong jet turbopower..No This wasnt the last car Albert painted as many people might think, as ive said above Billy painted this car WHOLELY inside and out, Albert painted 1 last car Yes, it was a Calais and it was for Bill, but now that car will be a display car only in Remembrance of Albert and has been fitted with Alberts repaired trim and the wheels will be polished coz of scratches from the accident it will be an identical car....JET

I dont wish to talk about my car as yet, as this topic is about Alberts car, but a few people from this board know all about it(My car) and what its goal is... As for the yellow 1 in the background which 1 are you reffering 2 as there are 2 in it...1 on the left is the 1 that ran a 10.42@132mph and was on display at MAS, it is undergoing more work, other 1 is completely stock and is probly 1 of the only untouched never modified 1s ive ever seen, EVER and still has police service books, its also having work done on it not sure what though... Theres is also another 2 yellow 1s at the workshop, 1 undergoing a engine rebuild and the others back for a service and tune...JET
