now... neon lights, if put in the right way and right places look good! thats why people use them! some people dont like them because they would rather get a turbo upgrade insted of making it look better thats there choice, but saying it looks crap or makes it look like rice is wrong! VL will never look like rice! just a question dose "anybody" like the 2 lights that go on the bonet?? i havent met anyone that says there cool?????

Since everyone on here can have their own opinion i'll express mine. NEON LIGHTS ARE ONE OF THE MANY BAD THINGS TO COME OUT OF THE RICEBURNER FACTORY. BUY AN EXCEL AND PUT UR GAY LITTLE LIGHTS ON THEM. NOONE CAN SAY **** ABOUT THIS REPLY BECAUSE AS U HAVE SAID EVERYONE HAS THEIR OPINION AND I'M JUST EXPRESSING MINE.

Ughh...Rice = Asian cars. VL = Nissan motor. RICE, people. If anything, the Turbo VL's are super-riced.

I got in trouble a few times for being a little too opinionated when it came to my views on particular people.. it best to just voice ur opinion in a gramatically correct way, with minimal offence to anyone. Just because some people put neons on their car doesn't mean its a rice burner.. maybe a christmas tree.. but I doubt it burns rice. yes, red and blue neons shouldn't be allowed in positions on the car wich make them resemble a police or emergency vehicle.. but neons do look pretty sweet when they are, say in a boot with some beefy sterio gear.. or like someone said.. lighting up the footwell of your car.... when used appropriately they can enhance a cars paintjob and make it look very pretty.. possibly attracting some A1 poontang !!! they have their goods and bads.. but we all know they dont make u go faster, different people have them for different reasons... accept it.. or u could just call them a rice burning poofter and get ur head kicked in. may as well point out why i have a "gay rice burner" 1st neon, speaker box on rear shelf, 2 6x9's with a blue neon in the middle 2nd neon - black light in sub box in boot since the subs have white writing 3rd & 4th neon - in the custom amp box on each side highlighting the amps 5th & 6th neon - foot wells in front also am planning on getting car resprayed in white with blue, green and purple pearl, will then consider buying blue underbody neon set to see if it will enhance the paint, if it looks good to me then people can call it what they want, not like it's gonna make me happy if your happy :P Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'll admit, yeah i have neons... And i think Ollie, Jay and Mike have seen the one it the boot and it doesn't look too bad. The main reason its there is i did go through a stage where i did "rice" up my other car my Hyundai. So i had a 2" red neon left over. Anyway when i was doing the install i really stuffed the wiring to the boot light... so rather than repair all that... i fitted the neon in the boot near my amp and sub so when the boot is opened you see the red glow. I have a 2 on the parcel shelf which don't even work any more because someone (Yes Jason it was you) broke the switch. Other than that, i was given a set of those little Type S point neons... they're positioned to light up the drivers footwell. My opinion is it looks pretty good. but only if its done tastefully...

Alrighty... I have been given a few shots of under car blue neons on a VL. If its your car, i don't meen to pinch your photo's its just as an example. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
