Except you may aswell buy any VL, it's not worth going through the cert process for a RB20DET.

But if you're going to bother converting, it should be a 25DET, 30ET or a hybrid.

Yuck! Can't beleive all the good comments he's getting! Am I the only one that thinks it's dog-ugly? Converted from non-turbo with a pi$$ weak red-top rb20

Just get a turbo one and work on it, so you already have the brakes and drivetrain pretty sorted. It always annoys me when I see a 'turbo' Skyline with 4 stud wheels.
I was looking for a 2 door black manual turbo skyline with a sunroof for a while, I had no luck

99% of r32 gtsts are thrahsed hard. and people who own mint ones wont sell them. better to buy a n/a one and just build it to your specs... 5 stud conversion isnt a biggie. you can still find n\a ones in reasonable nick
High mount - maybe a genuine RB30ET aswell ?

Imagine the looks you would get if you entered that in a burnout comp!!!! Mind you, youd actually have to try and spin the wheels 1st!!!
I remember seeing a little paragraph about those in a magazine at school years ago, I saw the word 'Mazda' but the picture was a purple HQ! Crazy mazda. Anyway, showroom condition.. complete with mismatched hubcaps from the warehouse/supercheap.

Haha, well spotted! I had to open it back up just to check that! Also notice that on the close up the bonnet is shut - why??
There was a brown one of these kicking it around a few years ago... In fact i think i saw it a Kumeu one year. I would imagine they would be bloody rare though... there is probably a good reason for that though - oh yeah, it's a rotor in a Kingswood body!!
