got another xf throttlebody, cleaned it up, painted it, replaced the pipes that normally stick out each side with welch plugs, neatened it up lots in my opinion. will be using the standard xf tps with is alot smaller and neater, also now have the throttle cable set up on the xf bracket. almost all the wiring is done, just need to wire up the fuel pump, air temp sensor, and tps. bought a camira air temp sensor for $16.50 brand new. quick pic of the microtech handcontroller powered up : ) turbo beanie i got for $50 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

fired the car up tonight, dizzy timing was out but rotated it enough to get it started, got oil pressure, let it idle for a bit, gave it some little revs turned it off. then realized i didnt even have the map sensor connected lol would explaiun why it was a little ruff and fair smokey out the exhaust. but very happy its running, still need to wire up thermos, finish off bits and pieces.

Looks mint mate, although you need to do something with the fuel hose from the regulator to the fuel rail as it looks a little untidy but awesome apart from that

cheers man, yea its not staying like that, it actually runs underneith but the hose was leaking at the fitting on the reg so i cut the hose back a bit and pushed it on again (being push lock fittings) and just ran it like that to see if it was fixed (not leaking) and its all sweet just havnt moved it back yet lol.
