01-11-10, 12:28 GMT+10#422 Haven't updated this in a while.
Still just been enjoying the car, cruising it around and whatnot. Gave it a decent clean the other week - it's amazing how much dirt accumulates just from driving! Needless to say it always scrubs up well
These are new - stainless steel sill covers from Lowe Fabrications. So much classier than the fragile plastic factory covers
And this is new, too. Moulded red boot carpet. Obviously not fully installed yet but such a huge improvement! Half way through relocating the battery into the spare wheel well, too, which will clean up the boot floor in preparation for the fuel cell

I'm not ungrateful, I'm cautious. Every compliment you pay me is either laced with sarcasm, or quickly backed up with a seemingly-contradictory attack on my character!
Example:
'Good work... you untalented, sterile fag'
'Car's looking nice... shame you're not me'
'Hey Liam, I like your new Rabens... I hope you choke in your sleep'
I'm just looking out for me!

18-02-11, 08:05 GMT+10#429 Well, I finally did it! I finally finished off the exterior with that factory Berlina pinstripe. From the outset I'd envisaged the red and silver lines wrapping their way around the body of the car perfectly complementing the silver duco, red trim and general silver and red theme we'd cultivated throughout the car. I couldn't be happier with the results, I'm just kicking myself that I didn't do it sooner!

... then ignored it completely, because factory hub caps are worse than famine in Africa...
