Nice power, 3540's with the .82 housing on 2J's crack 500-510rwhp (128-130mph traps)with no cams on pump fuel , so the to4z would want to do it easy, must be a fun setup cheers darren

hey just a quick question. may sound stupid but i need help, as i am new to external wastegates. Are the manifolds designed for a certain sized wastegate? how does it work? can i run a 48mm gate compared to a 50mm gate ? or are these manifolds just designed for one sized gate? How do you go about this?

How do you go about this? a tial 44mm,turbosmart 48mm and turbosmart 50mm can all be fitted to the same manifold, if you go upto a tial 60mm you need a bigger pipe (bigger than the entry into the turbo lol)

they are all vband flanges and you need the gate so you can weld the flange onto the manifold. i can supply wastegates with the manifold cheaper than anywhere else you could get one from

Its starts to pull at 3000rpm....full boost by 4000, maybe a little bit after.... jst changing the front pipe, and a new cat....should make a little more power....like very close to 600rwhp then i'll chuck in some HKS 272 cams, new valvesprings and retainers.... I'll come for a cruize down your way when its finished and take you for a drive mate....

http://www.boostworx.com.au/power.htm Was in zoom, mag, it proved its power, first 10 sec supra in australia. 10.8 at 128mph with 370rwkw, then put 272 cams in it and it made 410rwkw on 24psi on pump, bu that was the end of the turbos flow, he hasn't raced it with that. All with a 3540 .82. Absoutely massive wide powerband from 3200 to 7-7500rpm and crazy v8 style torque, One run he went 1st, 2nd, 5th and it still ran 11.4 at 121mph In between that time he had my Gt4294 on it, it made 370rwkw on 16psi with boost leaks, full boost at 4200rpm with 272 cams, 15psi by 3500rpm, the gt4294 is the PERFECT street turbo for a 2J,drove like 3540 on a rb30, either that or the Mr.turbo Gt70 s trim with the borg warner comp wheel. cheers darren
