Thank mate. It is hard to sell.. but its time, ive reached that point and its time to move on. Ive got the berlina to build now, that will do. Out of curiosity, what do you think its worth? I honestly have no idea.. i mean I know what id like but yeah

Its worth what someone wants to pay. But it is schmicko! And if I had a spare 10K i would be on my way to check it out... unfortunately the missus needs a new shopping cart! If my wagon looks half as clean when its finished i would be happy.

If you are finding it hard to sell you might want to try and fix as many of the bad points you have listed as possible. I am guessing people in the market for a car like that would rather pay a bit more and have a car that is completely sorted. Of course it requires more time and money to be put into it which is a hard thing to get motivated about doing. If it was an unrestored cheap car people wouldn't be fussed about the little things. My 2 cents anyway.

I 100% agree with your statement mate.. and thats how ive always been. Thats why ebay is good so i can get a feel for what people are thinking and what kind of money is out there. Im not chasing a lot and I am realistic. Loach - i get what youre saying mate.. but its just become time. All those little things would be easy to fix but the car currently isnt living at mine and it makes it hard to work on to do those small things. Id rather see someone else use it and enjoy it.

I'm not sure what it's worth mate, I have a very similar car. Fully rebuilt driveline, resprayed (not as well as yours, but very clean and 2pac, na auto open diff from factory, but full turbo transplant with every single varying component changed. I guesstimate that my car is currently worth somewhere around 11-13k (I could be wrong!) based on what I see them go for, and how mine compares, but as said above its worth what someone is willing to pay on the day. Think I'll hang onto mine for a while, there's a good reason I've kept it as standard as possible. It's pretty much my ultimate vl, I've always loved wagons, and prefer turbos over v8',s and the fact that A9Ys are rarer than most hdt/sv vl models only adds to the appeal. Best of luck with the sale mate. Keep me posted if u don't mind! Cheers bud.

Your car sounds nice mate.. would love to see it one day.. considering we are both sth eastern melb! The one thing i regret in my car is smoothing the bay... I wish i just left it stock, but these things happen. I like the fact you have kept it nice and orginial.. and stick to it!! Thanks for the luck, I will keep you posted Cheers

yours should pull good cash richo but again its a very limited market. i'd like to think mine is worth 12 but i recon it would sell for 8 quickly. holding out for 12 i might have mine for 10 months longer... so best of luck. it'd be much easier to know what a car is worth if we could see what thye sold for not just advertised price

Not the best but better than nothing.

^ That car is amazing..... Price is up there for an NA, but whats it going to cost to find an A9Y and make it look like that... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It was a really nice outback Qld car from about four years ago. Glad it found a good home during that time.
