19-10-10, 23:17 GMT+10#461 hey, how do the hoses connect to these plenums? As you know, the factory rb30 manifold has like 11 freeking nozels where all the hoses plug onto.
how does that work on the custom plenum?

whatever you want man, i bought an 80mm TB, it came with a mounting flange which I am sending off to Jamie and he's just gonna make up the plenum and weld that flange on, so yea any TB you like I guess, as long as you can either give him a flange for it or supply the template.

oh ok so them universal throttle bodys on ebay might fit straight on or just get the 10mm plate welded to the plenum?

01-11-10, 07:41 GMT+10#465 if that universal one you speak of is designed to bolt straight onto the factory RB30 manifold, I'm sure Jamie would be able to make up a plenum for you without needing you to supply a template for the TB. (same would go for an XF TB I presume, as by now he would have done many of these so he most likely will have his own template to suit RB30 TB/ XF TB.
If you buy a universal one it might come with a seperate flange which you'd give to Jamie to weld on to one of his plenums. If it doesn't have one, I'm sure you'd be able to give him your TB and he'll be able to make up a flange to suit. Best to check with him first to make sure though.

02-10-12, 23:57 GMT+10#476 hey jamie, thinking of getting a pipe bent up to go straight onto my turbo up to the afm position except i want to mount a long K&N filter there. It will need a few vacum hose points aswell. Pretty much just replace the standard one and support a filter (no AFM)
Doable?
