Wheels has the 0-100 time for the G6E T at 5.1s, which is line ball with the new V8 M3, the new 6.2 wont have a chance against the F6, everyone these days is obsessed with peak power numbers, the numbers mean fcuk all, acceleration is dependant on so many factors such as; weight, gearing, traction, torque delivery.

If you're gonna say it's not all about the power, then you could also say it's not ALL about the 0-100, when buying a road car you want to look at comfort and style and all the things like that too. And the new STIs.. are they those ****ing ugly hatch back things??

Ya right, the numbers are all w4nk factor - good for boasting down the pub and knowing that you have the fastest, but not much else! Wheels do their 0-100 runs on a drag strip which is much better for launching big bangers, and may explain their better time. Gearing plays a huge factor in 0-100 times, if you can get to 100km/h in second gear it makes for a much quicker run. Trouble is a lot of cars can't do that, often 100 indicated on the speedo is usually only about 95km/h. Oh and Subarus may be unspeakably ugly, but it doesn't stop them going like stink!

No matter how good they drive, it'll never change how ugly that ass end is. (Pretty much what NZ GTS said!) And if you're playing the power game, an engine that is already putting out more power without forced induction has more potential (if you have the money) Oh, and who is gonna let me get behind the wheel of such expensive cars? (sure they aren't above average for the range of car, but come on..) BTW, the REALLY ugly ones I am talking about are the newest ones (that now only come as hatches!) and I don't think they make them as 'STIs' either, call them something else, I could be wrong though, but I KNOW they're ugly There's a blue (what a surprise) one up the road from my work. They do make an STI, its a better look than the WRX, but someone really should tell Subaru that clear taillights are sooo 1998! Some pix of the STI here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ork/WRXSTI.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v381/NZ_GTS/recent%20work/WRXSTI.jpg) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...k/STivsEvo.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v381/NZ_GTS/recent%20work/STivsEvo.jpg) There is a WRX/Impreza sedan in the US, but I'm not sure if its coming here. It is, however, even uglier than the hatch!

They really REALLY softened it up didn't they. Even though the slightly older models were quite ricey, atleast they looked stronger! (Haha the mitsi in the back looks like **** too) Conversations like this have made me think what I would get if for some reason I got rid of my wagon.. and I can't come up with anything, engine size would only go up and that is not a direction I would want to go.

hsvhel - you b4stard! Those RS4s avants are fcuking horn! One of my favourite drives. Love the sport button that opens up the exhaust and the seats that squeeze you tighter. Probably the best sounding euro V8 - she's a screamer too -8000rpm redline or something isn't it?

Ok so going from a song with low volume to a really high volume .mp3, one of my front speakers has started tearing. The ones in the dash are 4" right? And, one of my stupid plastic nut covers has gone missing (either some poor ******* stole it, or maybe it fell off when some stupid ******* lost their hubcap on the motorway, it bounced off a toyota and went straight under my wheels) Does anyone know anywhere that would sell them individually? And how much they're worth? I've never noticed them anywhere else before, I was searchin around for a thin wall socket before I worked out they were covers Felt pretty stupid.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
