auto 4spd.... which is the weakest out of them , but shifts fine need a big trans cooler they only handle around 300rwkw b4 they start playing up , but thats plenty for the street best thing about it..... its a new car so nice to drive everything works .... plus its quite not like the rattly old vl handles so well bout to buy some ssl springs on ebay .... it bloody needs it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just got my first bit of attention in the Calais. Took it for a drink and bath, was heading home just past Lambton pool and I noticed a cop car screaming up behind me. Next thing lights are all on so I pull over. Copper was pretty good in the end, asked a few questions about the car, seemed to know a bit himself. Started talking about the VL 8 being unleaded and down on power from the pollution gear, that worried me a little bit as I've just found out my vac hoses etc are all up the shit. I guess him seeing my age on my licence and me telling him the car was a project with the old man put him off, he breath tested me then let me go. Funny thing, I indicated to pull over, after I took off, the next left corner my rear globe went. So that proves it for me, these cars sure do attract some attention with the constabulary. Might have to get it out more often.
