Yeah I have a set of VR/VS door pods, I started prepping one way back when I got them and havn't touched them since I figure I may aswell make use of the speaker space in the dash though. As for the rear speakers I thought of something to replace the bashed up original woodboard trim today, havn't looked too far into it but hopefully it'll work (and look alright). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I chucked my tweeters in place of the original 4 inchers. Just bent up some brackets, and made sure they were pointing in the right directions. Too easy.

I suppose I might wait then.. I have so many things that need sanding that I just can't be bothered starting! (everything from the bumper trim down, the whole way round the car (with the calais skirt pieces), for one..)

Looks like I need to get back to work on my doorpods.. and I've just seen Mike is looking for some, I don't think I had to search for too long to find them, and they cost me $50 or $60, which I thought was ok. Haha this has given me another idea.. a shortcut, same shortcut as my bootlining idea, when I get around to testing it I'll take some pics. Mike, you were selling some doorpods a while ago weren't you??

It works if you delete the bt1 off the front of it very nice polished rocker cover http://www.oztion.com.au/buy/auction...=0&pg=1&cat=21 (http://www.oztion.com.au/buy/auction.aspx?itemid=4356406&d=0&sort=0&pg=1&cat=21) 4&view=List&f1=0&f2=0&type2=&type3=&type4=&type5=& s=&pcode=&dis=0&freepost= Yeah I sold those they weren't going to work in the wagon so I'm going to modify some VR/VS door pods

Just sucks that I probably can't get my tints done by then I thought I had all the bits, but I don't. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Huh are you attempting to do the tints yourself ?

dont even bother doing your own tints..its real hard!! and you end up with big bubbles and the repco tints go all purple looks gay as

^what he said! A curved back window is a cnut; the pros do it in strips (joins on the demister lines) and careful use of a heat gun. Professional tinting film is metallised - the stuff from Ripco isn't which is why its cheap, and why it fades. Some tint places give you a ten year guarantee against peeling and bubbling. I've had two cars done by car tint. Top job.

Lol nah I'm not doing it myself, have a deposit down at tintacar from big boys toys last year.. (it's been that long) but I can't have it done until my new tailgate is on, which is all painted but I need the bits listed in my sig otherwise I have to take it all out of the tailgate on there and transfer it over in one day (while my car sits in the drive all opened up) and I need the parts anyway (cause the tailgate on there is going onto another car) I've found a motor though, but nothing else I think I need a rear rust breeder too actually.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
