Seems very suspect, heres why; Its 4.11:1 diff with drums, V8's had Discs and 3.08:1 axle. Its got Kiwi seatbelts and rear seat/door trim The 2 ID tags are not on the firewall, this suggests that there is a NZ plate on the inner guard. The engine has red rocker covers and aftermarket air cleaner although it appears to be a VK/VL block It would appear that a VB-VK or VL V8 was used as the donor car because of the battery location.

it is very possible the diff is factory V8 4.11 ratio as i have come across this before on wagons and only 25 spline too

I personally think that would be going a bit too far (even for Holden). calais3L, how do you differentiate between NZ seatbelts and Aus ones? I'm intrested to know now that you've mentioned it. (ps you have an extremely keen eye to be able to pick out something as insignificant (to me anyway!) as a seatbelt ) cheers Sam Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
