Not good news Rob, as i've spoken to you regrading this. Anzacs has been a costly stretch of road for that car.......its now destoyed all the driveline components now with that incident, least you dont live too far away like i do from there!!! Personally, its all about how far and what you want to get from the car. Twin cams are awesome, but SOHC has proven big numbers many times before. Just build a new forged bottom end, spool rods will be more than enough Rob, unless you wanna spend twice as much on carillos?? I think personally, it would be more practical to go that way, the top end on that motor is perfect, so why change it?? why your there, power port the GT35R and do the inlet runners why you're at it......cant see why the car wouldnt do 350RWKW on pump @ 20-22psi. At the end of the day....its your car, so its your call mate. Good luck with it all. These are my opinions, which count for nothing!! Adam_psi

Adam_psi cheers adam. think ill stick with the SOHC. will definitely do some pwr porting while the motor is out. ill keep u posted on how im goin with it all dude. had to laugh a bit tho when it all happened, especially seeing as someone with a skyline pulled over and the first thing asked was if i was gonna go twincam head now? ive got oil pissing outta my car all over the road wondering what the fcuk has just happened, and im being asked whether im gonna go twincam now???? i mean, if u saw a bloke burying his wife at her funeral, would u go up and ask him if he's gonna go fcuk other chicks now? haha bit of an exaggerated analogy i know, but u get the point. pretty random comment i thought. especially when my SOHC had no troubles going past his twincam head on the streets.

Hey Robbo,im not a mechanics ass when it comes to Nissans but if i were driving a genuine 10 sec street car and i lost the bottom end, i would just replace the broken bits???You could scrap the whole lot and put a 383 stroker in it ?LOL oh yeah spotted a pretty tuff gold VLCT doin a mean skid at Autofest at the Bridge today. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
