Anyone missing a white VP? There's one been dumped in Shortland, no plates, looks like the local sh!ts have broken into it. Probably be torched in the next few days if history repeats itself.

It's already been done, but guess they aren't too interested. Like the last car dumped in the same spot, sat there until it was torched.

If I'm available at whatever time is organised I might have to tag along in the VX Jamie. My VL is now off the road long term, started ripping the front end apart last night, stripping and cleaning the headlights for starters, just have to decide whether to replace them or keep going with the cleaning, thier condition isn't too bad but they'll need some work. Clips that hold the lenses on are all rusted so I'd at least like to replace them. Front bar is a bit busted up so I'll wait to buy a new one before refitting. Few other things to do, but I still kick it over once a week and it's running fine.

Try make it when everyone is available. The footy grand final is in 4 weeks so might have to make it after then. Yeah man tag along with me if ya want, loving the new car, ill throw a pic up of it soon. Good to hear the vl it running good.

Yeah the old manifold wasn't too flash, gave it to one of the members here who had it fixed, but wasn't cheap. Got a practically brand new reproduction factory manifold that has a modified intake (2 holes like the Brocks plus the floor is ribbed). Was a good learning experience changing it. Shame things fell through with that pink slip, would love to be driving it now, but have to do more work so it will get through a blue slip when the time (and money) comes.

Had the VT tuned again today, one bloody lead had died so time for a new set of leads and plugs to get it going again. I replaced the intank pump with a walbro one and it is still running out of fuel around 4000rpm. Looks like I will be fitting the surge tank and the twin 044's.
