The all holden was great, had a blast! Got set up around 7 and left around 2.30 so i thought that was good innings. Saw many cool and nicely restored cars and best of all the vl was where it belonged. She looked like a diamond Found these pics on Downfall Photography's facebook page as well Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Haha, yep. Thats were my bar got hit :/ , it still doesn't deter me from going though. The lenses are a little bit smokey looking but it doesn't faze me purely because they are oem holden and still have the lion embossed in the lense. Should source some nos ones over time :P ---------- Post added 13-04-14 at 14:36 ---------- The vl got its new timing belt Friday and runs like a champ. The coolant leak was a split heater hose so replaced that as well. They also tightened up the pan hard rod that was a bit loose. Because can't help myself i found a vl being wrecked at jollys in ringwood and finally got another antenna module as my one sometimes wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and decides not to go up [thats what she said]. I also found some courtesy lights which are suprisingly hard to come by. You can never have too many spares! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The Vl has been a supringly good daily for the time being. I hate doing it to her as she should be in retirement! It's been so wet down here the underguards are full of dirt so not looking forward to cleaning that. At least on average it gets 400 km out of 43 litres so i can't argue with that. She also went to melbourne old school cruise night last night which was HUGE! 2000 cars at chadstone car park. Snagged this poor quality photo before i left as well. If you want to see why it is a daily check here: http://forum.streetcommodores.com/sh...574757&page=11 (http://forum.streetcommodores.com/showthread.php?t=8574757&page=11) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The vl's finally been decomissioned as a daily driver for now. It didn't miss a beat. Although it does need a a front end alignment. Crazy how much camber ther is on the front wheels. Plus it's started to chew the insides out :S. So better get on it quickly. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

So today this happened. I'll still buy the walkinshaw wheels one day but i have always had a soft spot for originality. Undecided as to when i clean them up and put them on to go a single legal white wall on the tyre. Potentially it's been done to death and i'm not a huge fan off walls but it could pull it off i think. The scratches are minor as well so they will clean up nice, Sometimes it helps being in the automotive trade haha Also think of trying to run a 225 65 14 tyre as well, but can only seem to find 215's...... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The vl has been neglected bad while on daily duties. She got the clean up she deserved today inside and out. I also fixed the aerial as you can see it in full sail in the pics. The module burnt out from when they installed the window it didn't seal in one bit properly and had water run down the pillar and onto the module over time. Pain in the neck to replace but at least it works now. Hopefully when the vx is all fixed up i can save some more and put the hubcaps on. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It's taken a LONG time to find. But finally found a genuine cerulean high rise console! Only taken since last October when i bought the car. Definitely a win in my book haha. Pretty much means the interior is now complete apart for a door trim which i'm not overly fussed about. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Had to buy a new a new overflow bottle through the week as mine finally carked it and ran coolant & washer fluid everywhere. Thats about the latest on the 'ol vl. Still waiting to pick up some 14's off a mate when he's finished with them so i can finally get these hubcaps fitted. Also, be on the lookout for the vl at the up and coming melbourne old school cruise to calder park to support bellas fight. It will be there somewhere, but, will try and get on the pavement. A pic from today at Calder Park's Thunderdome. And the near abandoned Thunderdome, actually brakes my heart to see the track abandoned and in such poor state. ---------- Post added 27-10-14 at 17:57 ---------- Lawless Photography got a photo of the nugget at calder as well Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Got some decals i've been meaning to get for ages! To me the car feels near complete now! I also pick up some 14's tonight. I'm unsure as to run a 215/65/14 or a 185/75/14. Thoughts? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thats the plan haha. The 17's looks very average on it. I'd love to run turbo hubcaps (red holden logo and black nuts with satin silver face) on 15x4 fronts and 15x7 rear with 235/55 mt streets, would be tuff as! As for now, berlina hubcaps are the go!

Finally! I have the new wheels on the car. This car is literally back to stock now. Although i do feel the need for a slightly bigger rim, So a set of walkies or 17' simmons fr's may be on the cards Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
