Man its so close. first start up must have felt good. Bit of info that helped me when I recently moved my battery to the boot and shortened the loom on the drivers side. So that it no longer runs around the front of the strut tower, meaning the big plug (pictured above) now sits behind the break booster. Found these usful in joining large wires that i couldn't solder. Keep up the good work Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

That suck man, at least she was making some good power when it happened. Have you made a plan of attack in regards to the motor?

Sucks when you blow parts. I would retard the timing if you are advanced 10 you would be getting a very hot in there. Also the only head gasket to stand up is a genuine nissan one unless you go all the way.

Re headlights: could check the voltage at the lights using a multimeter if you have one. Or clean and inspect wiring, fuses and plugs. My lights are good as I have not touched that part of the loom hehe Shouldn't have to retard the timing at all at 15 psi? Good on ya for getting rite back on the horse. Sound like a clean slate is the best place to start, especial considering the work your putting in. Good stuff man.
