Boyracer, What did you mean by 'the front seats have been done'?
Cheers
They look like a recover compared to the door trims which look thirty years old.
Maybe the momo could improve with some leather treatment and black boot polish.
Maybe join Brock Commodores.com and do some reading up.
Good luck with her, everyone loves it

Just checked with Dad's misus, front seats have never been recovered. Dad bought the spare material for the back seats when it got the tear, which was apparently from us kids back in the day.(They mat look a lot better because the guy actually removed them from the car and went to town, the door trims were cleaned on the car.)
A more brief history on the car.. Dad purchased it brand new from the Holden dealership in Horsham in I believe 87 as it had sat there for quite a while and he rode past it every day. It spent the next 10 years as his daily driver. The car had never left Horsham until I took it this year. In 97 he bought his new car and unfortunately parked this one uncovered in our shed where it had been sitting ever since. Was driven 4 or 5 times after that.
One of the last things he said to me was 'just sell it' so I researched what they were worth which as I said in OP varied so much. I think they are at the bottom of their value ATM. For a measily 25k I obviously in the end decided it wasn't worth selling.
There was originally 2 in Horsham but one was crashed and burned to the ground in the early 90s. Makes you wonder out of the 500 how many were written off/stolen and how many are there left.

If you go to the Brock Commodores forum I'm sure someone there will be keeping a tally. They will also be very keen to know your car is still around and the story behind it.
I think you've done the right thing in keeping it, as much for your Dads memory as it being an awesome car many if us would give a nut to own.

The VL momo were not numbered, you can get them recovered but you need someone who has done one before to get the dimples right, or you can scan ebay for one but expect to pay 800 for a mint one.
This is why you need to read some posts on BC, there are leather restoring kits out there, yours looks like it is not too bad and the blue and red sticker is still available.
