Wonder how much they will sell for compared to Tempe. They look to be right on the money put a simmons centre cap in it and your laughing.

18-04-12, 10:51 GMT+10#51 Gents, I hate to break it to you, but those are Simmons FR's from Tempe.
My brother spoke to the guys from TTF Thomo this morning. Pricing is as per the Tempe website.
Sure - they are expensive, but any quality 3 piece wheels is. Look at wheels like BBS, Forgiato, Foose etc - they are all around the $1000 per wheel range. Most Billets will set you back around $1000 per wheel as well. It all comes down to what you want.
I personally think it's foolish to compare a quality wheel to a copy - like a copy E3 GTS, Pentagon etc. They are not in the same league. The genuine wheels have been tested & are ADR compliant. Copies are just a money making machine for the guys that sell them.
It's like walking into a Holden dealer & complaining that a GTS costs more than an Omega. At the end of the day, choose a wheel that you like, coz it's your car and you have to like it.
In my opinion, chromies are for the tip - I'd rather roll on polished Calais' and save up for a killer set of wheels, than spend $2000 on junk.
Good luck with it mate. Look forward to seeing what you finally decide on.

18-04-12, 14:58 GMT+10#52 They're part of the new TSW range, they're called Carthage's. Only major difference i can remember from when i saw them was a lip around the spoke.

18-04-12, 15:20 GMT+10#53 My best mate works at Ttf thomastown and I just spoke to him again and the wheel in the picture is not a Simmons wheel from Tempe it's a copy of a Simmons wheel made by Ttf and will be available for half the price of Simmons in the next 6 months. But until then they can order you in the Tempe tyres version but they are like 3 or 4g
